| Eastern Trophies Purchases New River-Front Property |
|
|
Eastern Trophies recently purchased a piece of river-front property on the Savage River in Western Maryland.
We have plans to build and operate a small lodge. The company has done well over the past five years, and this
will allow us expand and grow even more. I personally want to thank everyone who has helped along the way.
Please contact us for additional information and investment opportunities. Happy Holidays!

| Project Healing Waters |
|
Eastern Trophies Fly Fishing donated a float trip to
Project Healing Waters in March of 2006.
Joe Grady, of the United States Marine Corps, was the lucky winner.
It seemed appropriate to do the float trip on the nation’s river, the Potomac. We floated
the North Branch on July 2nd, on what we aptly call the “Buffet Float.”
This section of river holds wild brown trout, fingerling stocked rainbow trout,
smallmouth bass, sunfish and the elusive Tiger Musky.
The day began at 9:00am with a short presentation of a 5wt, 9ft, Winston Vapor Fly Rod that was donated
by The R.L. Winston Fly Rod Company of Twin Brides,
Montana. Eastern Trophies Fly Fishing donated a
fly fishing reel to complete the package.
Joe had some experience casting fly rods, but this was his first
time actually fly fishing, and his first time fishing from a boat. Joe’s very first cast into the river had
him hooked up with a mid-sized rainbow trout.
The catch of the day was a 17” smallmouth bass, which
rolled up to the surface to take a 4” crayfish pattern. Both the smallmouth bass and the
trout on the North Branch are hard fighting fish. Joe handled it like a pro.
Joe and his wife did a wonderful job on their first fly fishing trip.
Together they landed over twenty fish.
With the sacrifices our soldiers make, donating a trip to Project Healing Waters was the least
Eastern Trophies Fly Fishing could do. I would like to especially thank the R.L. Winston Fly Rod
company for donating the 5wt Vapor Fly Rod. I will always remember the day that I spent with Joe and
his wife, and I look forward to more trips with the soldiers from Project Healing Waters.
