| Fished Dam #4 over the Labor Day weekend a few times. Fishing was fair. We are hooking up smallmouth in the pools and eddies just downstream of riffles and drops. Fish are also holding in the pockets and ledges. We did get into some Musky on Labor Day. Fish were very picky though and we had a few turns with a lot of refusals. We did get about 15 shots at different fish up to 45 inches. Good to see them. Clarity was great. Flies that took fish, the New CKBaitfish, rattling mullet flies, Clawdads and chuck-n-ducks for Musky. Colors that were getting attention with White, Rust for Clawdads, Brown for Clawdads and Black and White for Poppers. Water was low, but pretty good fishing considering the conditions that the mid Atlantic has. |
